Enough With Themes?

Wednesday, March 14th, 2001

There is an opinion piece appropriately enough on osOpinion.com. In it, the author disses themes quite a bit. Personally, I like having configurability and customability.

One interesting thing is that the author includes the scrollbar from Premier in the montage of various theme components. Can you spot it? *grin*

Open Projects Network

Sunday, March 11th, 2001

I did a few Open Projects Network banner ads. You can see them on OpenProjects.net. Mine are the "open source, open technology, open information" ones. You should also check out Artwiz‘s on that page, as they also rock! (Just don’t "DCC the cat")

So you should support the Open Projects Network; it’s a good thing. OPN has a vast array of interconnected IRC servers, all providing a means to support, project building, and general community hangouts. If you’d like to learn more, visit OPN’s "Using the Network" page. Also available is a Java chat applet for those who don’t already have a standard IRC client installed.

Anyway, drop by the network, join a channel, and don’t forget to say "Hi" to everyone. (:

Nice Little Site Changes

Monday, March 5th, 2001

I redid the site a little with a bit more of a reliance on CSS. Make sure you check it out in a modern browser like Mozilla or Konqueror. Internet Explorer would even suffice. I have, however, maintained compatibility with Netscape 4.x for all you die-hards out there, but you should know that you’re missing a lot unless you upgrade. *smile*
