I found an interesting write-up on Norman Koren’s website about digital versus 35mm cameras.

He arrives at similar conclusions as the author of the Luminous Landscape does when it comes to the Canon D60, and backs it up with some interesting tidbits of information as well. Basically, Norman says that the quality of the new digital cameras actually are comparable now, thanks to the lack of grain.

He also just happens to have some interesting stats on the Epson 1270, the printer I own.

Neat stuff. I think I’ll have to hunt down a D60, a large Compact Flash card, and a few nice lenses. (:
