The suspense has been too much for quite a few people I know. Between all the people I know who have asked and a few concerned people of whom I do not quite know yet, I have gotten a numer of emails, pings from people on IRC (Internet chat), and instant messages from those on my buddy list.

One theme was common. Lots of people have cared about the status of both my car and back.

Well, as of last weekend, I stopped taking the medicine (a bit earlier than the doctor suggested), so I’m mentally feeling much better (feeling groggy and odd isn’t as fun as you’d like to think). My back still is in pain sometimes, but it is also better (I think). I got a new cushion at work for my chair, which seems to help a little, but I still can’t find myself sitting for as long as I once could — at least not in that chair at work.

Also, while my mom and grandma were up visiting, I finally got my car back. I should have had them visit sooner (heh). Seriously, the auto shops finally finished up work, much to my overflowing happiness. I should probably do a little write-up someday soon which details why it took so long.

What’s that? Yes, I have my car back. It’s back. I have my car. I’ll say it again: My car is fixed and I now have it once more. Amazing, huh? Will wonders never cease? *smile*

Anyway, I would like to take this time to personally think all of you who have volunteered to help me out, all of those who have actually helped me out (quite a lot of great people), and those who have been there all along, giving support. I really appreciate everyone. Thanks.

The upside to this two-and-a-half month long experience of not having a working car is that I really do have a lot of friends who are more than willing to help out in any and every way possible. Lots of friends I now know better thanks to the car-less experience as well.

Thanks again! (:
