Today was my moving day at work. I received an email this morning which asked if I could relocate my stuff to another cube. There was a new person hired and he should fit in best where I was sitting. Also, I would probably fit in better in my new location, so I was asked to move. It made sense.
I am now located closer to the people I work with more on a day-to-day basis. The downside of this fact is that I will probably not get as much exercise walking back and forth a few dozen times per day. The upside is that it will be easier to be a bit more interactive in the process of doing stuff. I think I will also be one of the first to know when it is time for the developer lunch groups to head out for food.
Oh — as a result of the move, my new cube is nice, tidy, and organized.
I have updated my photo gallery‘s display a little bit. The gallery update was brought to you today by overcast weather and a fifty percent chance of rain.
I will probably update various parts of my site over the course of today, which may also include more photo gallery improvements and such.
I may go on a trip here in the oncoming months. Do any of you have any suggestions for a place to go where it would be nice to shoot pictures? I want to try to keep the trip pretty cheap, so driving probably makes the most sense.
My mom suggested Florida. This trip will most likely be in mid Summer, so I would suspect that everything will be crowded.
If I do wind up going to Florida, do any of you have any good suggestions on where to go? If I travel down to the Florida Keys, might that be a good place to stay?
Do any of you have any other suggestions other than the sunny southern panhandle state?
Wow. This Thanksgiving day weekend, The Cat in the Hat, the movie is going to premiere. It’s a live-action Dr. Suess movie staring Mike Meyers. It looks to be done in a similar fashion to The Grinch which was released a few years back.
I went out with a few friends today to take a few pictures. After emerging from my car, I decided to try out the polarizer for my new lens. I tried to attach it like any ordinary filter, yet it did not screw in. Upon closer inspection, I have found that my 77mm Tiffen polarizer came without threading to allow for it to be screwed in! Argh!
I’ll have to contact some people about it on Monday to get a replacement.
