I travelled the “forty-five minutes” (or so) to Chapel Hill with my friend Allea to take pictures of the semi-local botanical garden (after sitting in some horrible hour-or-two-long traffic). We spent most of our time there talking to an old gentleman about photography. All three of us were decked out with camera gear. We were photo-geeks.

After we were done chatting with the guy, we noticed that it was not only starting to get late, but a storm was quickly approaching. Allea and I dashed to my car and I drove away from the foreboding clouds.

On the way away, we saw some silly one way signage as well as a anti-war demonstrating stop sign. I knew I had to stop my car to take pictures. Allea laughed at me, but she did admit that it was both “funny” and “cool”.
