Temporary remote storage space

Dropload looks interesting — it is file storage space so that people can exchange files without having to set up their own servers or send huge files via email.

    I remember there being several sites like that back in the late 90s, but I think they all went out of business. Perhaps these guys have a better idea.

    How do they make money? Or are they just doing this out of the goodness of their own heart?

    IIRC a few years ago some company that contributed to Gnome (Nautilus?) also had a service like this, but they went bust.
