Free as in ice cream

Today is "free cone day" at most participating Ben & Jerry’s locations. Tomorrow evening is "free scoop night" at Baskin-Robbins.

Ben & Jerry’s is promoting voting whereas Baskin-Robbins is seeding reading (with new book donations to kids in need).

There’s only one Ben & Jerry’s in the area, but several Baskin-Robbins can be are sprinkled around. Hopefully there is at least one of the two businesses in your area. Go visit and celebrate these two days with some free ice cream! (Of course, then come back here and post what your favorite flavor is too. *smile*)

    at least I tried

Got to Ben and Jerry’s with one hour of free ice cream left and the entire courtyard in front of the store was packed with hungry college students. Decided not to wait. Maybe I’ll hit up Baskin Robbins tomorrow night instead…

    Thanks for letting me know.

And the answer is…chunky monkey, all the way.

No Ben & Jerry in my neck of the woods…

But there is a Baskin’s right around the corner *grin*. Maybe if I wear a different hat and t-shirt each time I could get more than one scoop…umm..

  3. MMMM…

The scoop of Jamoca Almond Fudge I had in a cone was great. It’s one of their best (and most classic) flavors. Mmm…

    the worst people

All I saw were some suburbanites and their kids when I went. All very nice and well behaved. Besides them, I was there too, but I was also well behaved (and I do buy stuff from Baskin-Robbins at other times, so I’m not a total freeloader).
