10 reasons why Subversion is better than CVS

Summer thunderstorm in Cambridge

A bit of humidity and lots of rain, thunder, and impressive lightning is happening around Cambridge currently. It reminds me some of Georgia in the summertime.

No-IP

No-IP.com has some nice artwork. It does look a bit familiar, however.

(What’s funny is that, while working at Red Hat, I once had a fixed-width prototype of RHN — and also in blue too… although that version never made it out the door.)

New Canon digital camera: 20D

Thursday, August 19th, 2004

The Canon 20D is nice, but it’s not worthy enough to upgrade. Where is the 1:1 full frame sensor within this range of cameras? A 6MP to 8MP isn’t that large of a step up, either. 12MP would have been more like it. (This would’ve made a nice mid-term upgrade from the D60 in the form of the 10D, but the 10D was basically a D60+bugfixes.)

Hopefully there will be a jump sometime soon, but I doubt it if this is just being released now.
