Upgraded to WordPress 1.5

I just upgraded to WordPress 1.5. (There are some good reasons to do so.) Everything seems nice so far.

Right now, I’m just using the default theme. I plan to customize things sometime in the near future.

    It is sorta funny to see you running the default theme…

    Kreg: Yeah, it’s a bit funny to see the default theme here for the time being. It works though, and it looks really nice.

    I have been using MT for a couple of years, and just started getting hit with comment spam. How is WP at stopping this? I might change over to an opensource solution if it is good.

    Garrett, I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, so I’ll mention it here: when I click ‘Photos’ under the Navigation menu on the left side, I get a big fat error at the top that says: Warning: system(): Unable to fork [/home/users/g/garrett/bin/gdk-pixbuf-convert -geometry x -quality 15 /home/users/g/garrett/sites/linuxart.com/site/photos//thumb/.thumb.jpg /home/users/g/garrett/sites/linuxart.com/site/photos/tmp/_qthmb_.jpg] in /home/users/g/garrett/sites/linuxart.com/site/photoview.phtml on line 102
    The site looks great otherwise, even with the default WordPress 1.5 theme.

    Thanks for pointing it out — it’s unrelated, but I’ll try to get it fixed soon. I think there’s a process issue on the server at the moment.

    I did update it so that it does not display that awful error message, however.

    About your photo gallery, I am still wondering if it would be possible to get the set of script that render it ? I like it sooo much :)

    I’ve been lurking around your site for months, so I figured I’d finally drop in a word.

    Just updated my site, actually - I’ve been meaning to get around to customizing it, but somehow the time to do it just keeps escaping me.
