About stolen cameras

Nat, it really stinks that this is the second 20D that’s been taken from you. It’s an extremely long shot, but if you have the serial numbers, you might want to put something about each in the Photo.net stolen equipment registry.

Also, you might want to look into a “personal article” insurance policy for your camera (and other electronics) equipment, for the future. You should be able to find one that insures against breakage and loss (theft, accidently leaving it somewhere, etc.). It’s usually not too expensive (much cheaper than the camera equipment) if it is a personal policy. Again, Photo.net has some more info on the subject.

In addition, If you currently have renter’s insurance, you might want to check to see if it may actually cover the stolen equipment, even though it wasn’t stolen from your residence.

I Lost my camera at school when I left it in my locker in PE Well I got so mad and ask myself why did I bid it. I just bought this 1 week ago tnow its gone! Well now im wondering would I find it. Could I track it down? I would do any thing to get my camera. Last night I watched this tv show talking about stolen Ipods. It said that there is now a new why to track it down. And I wondered sence it works for an ipod why not a camera. This is when I got on the computer looking for whys to get my camera back!

Yesterday I stayed after school with my friend Jasmine, waiting on my boyfrined Rickie. We were laughhing and having a good time when two of her male friends came over to join us. One of them used my camera, and for some reason when I left school it slipped my mind that, “Hey! My camera is gone”! I kept on wondering to myself that hey, one of them has my camera. So the next day I went to school and told an officer, but he said that they said the don’t have it!!!! I just wish I had some type of tracking device to get my camera back!!!!!
