Helping out Microsoft

On the way out of my hotel this morning, I found a credit card near the front door. I picked it up and noticed that it was a corporate credit card, and that it belonged to Microsoft.
…I brought it to the front desk and told them where I found it, of course.

Ancient Gecko widgets

On Linux:

Why do Gecko / Firefox HTML widgets still look like non-native ones from 1995?
Why has this been such a long-standing issue?
When are modern widgets that look like the rest of the operating system (such as those in XUL) going to appear?

Just curious; it would be nice to have this fixed someday.

Security work-around?

One thing I do miss about flights is bringing a big bottle of water with me. Today, I thought, “Well, what if I freeze the water and bring that through security?”
It’s not a “dangerous” liquid if it’s actually a solid, right?
