I went with a group of friends and we had a ton of fun.

Check out what it looked like from the top of the mountain in this panoramic snapshot.

Firefox themes now on the official Mozilla addons site!

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

The new Tango theme and all of its derivatives (all updated for Firefox 2.0) are now available on the official Mozilla addons site.

Installing is now easier, and the themes should now auto-update as well. Just click an image below (for the theme you want) and then click on install. You can install any or all of them too (they’re parallel-installable).

Tangerine theme for Firefox Industrial (old GNOME icon theme, basically) theme for Firefox

Also, I’d like to thank all the people in #tango who helped me refine the themes, as well as all the icon designers who made them all possible (many are the same people, and I’m one too). In no particular order (and hopefully I don’t miss too many people *g*): infernux, nico, sgarrity, dobey, tigert, jimmac, andreasn, Novell, and all the rest… (;

Germany photo trip

Sunday, May 29th, 2005

I’m thinking of traveling around Germany a bit, to take pictures. Is anyone interested going to be in the Stuttgart area for a couple days (Wednesday and Thursday) after GUADEC?

Also, if anyone has any suggestions where I should go to take awesome pictures in Germany, please leave a comment.

About Garrett LeSage…

Friday, April 1st, 2005

Garrett is a designer, photographer, artist, and computer enthusiast.

His portfolio (which is, admittedly, several years old and is in need of an update) shows logo design, icon work, web development, and many more visual-related activities throughout his career.

For the past several years, he has focused on interaction design, encompassing user interface design and usability.

He joined Novell three years ago, after spending a couple years with Red Hat (and before that, a few well spent years at VA Research / Linux Systems / Software).

In his spare time, he reads, hikes, and takes a ton of pictures with his cameras. When not working or shooting photos, he can be found either updating his website (once every few blue moons), hanging out with friends, or volunteering time to help people out.

If you’d like, you can contact Garrett at: garrett {at} linuxart {dot} com.
