So many things happened since my last post…

On a side note, it’s kind of hard to start blogging again when you haven’t done so in a while.

Nice new car that does 330 miles per gallon

There’s a report of a new car that does a whopping 330 miles per gallon, allowing one to (supposedly) traval from one coast of the United States to the other on a single tank of gas.

The best quote of the article:

“Rather than designing to a styling aesthetic, like the big auto makers do, we hew to an efficiency and safety aesthetic. When you do that, math and physics mostly dictate the shape of the car, and in this case, math and physics look awesome.”

It does indeed look nice. With such a different shape, I’m wondering how it would take impacts (especially side and rear ones)…
