Sedona vacation

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

120º Fahrenheit. Wildfires all over the place. Everything was closed down due to the huge fires, including all of Sedona and its surroundings and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

That was my trip to Arizona. I just happened to pick a lucky week to visit.

Helicopter vs Fire

More pictures will be coming soon — the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and the Petrified Forest were all neat to see. Sure, it was dry (8% relative humidity), but it still was hot.

Pictures from Germany, slowly but surely!

I’ve started to post pictures from Germany on my Flickr page.

Stretching flowers

Walking along a Rothenburg ob der Tauber road

Window bar vines

These are just the first few; I’ll keep posting more bit by bit, so keep checking back! (:

Genießen des Bieres in Deutschland

Sunday, May 14th, 2006

I’ve been in Germany for the past week, plus a few days. Early tomorrow (Monday), I’m flying back to the US.

Even though the trip has been primarily for work, I did manage to sqeeze in a few days of excellent photo shooting action. Expect to see some really cool shots getting posted very soon.

Currently, though, I’m enjoying my Würzburgian hefeweizen and cheesy cheese sticks in a German bar that’s playing 80s rock and has an very expensive wi-fi hotspot (T-Mobile).

Boston area interestingness

Thursday, April 20th, 2006

Now that it’s spring again, I’d like to explore New England some more. Does anyone have any awe-inspiring or interesting favorite places to recommend?

Any suggestions within Boston all the way to a short day trip from the city (a few hours drive) would work fine.

Also, if the place is conducively photogenic, that would be a plus. (:

Back home

Friday, June 3rd, 2005

I’m back home. It’s nice to be non-travelling.

So what did I miss since the end of GUADEC? (Unfortunately, Planet GNOME doesn’t seem to have any sort of archive…)

By-the-way: Germany pictures soon! (:
